Under/over estimations
I’ve always heard that you overestimate what you can accomplish in a day and underestimate how much you can accomplish in a year. Each day is underwhelming and I I am often wishing that I was getting much more completed… but if I look back a year, wow. I can’t believe how far everything has developed.
Tonight I am reviewing the big pictures that I have laid out years ago. Most of the items have had zero movement. Some items have grown in size as they get developed. As much as feel like I am chasing my tail, it’ll be nice to take a larger perspective on my work. I am determined – the task might be growing every day, but not as fast as I am accomplishing it (from the year over year perspective, anyway. Day over day I feel like I am moving backwards.)
What can I do to make it develop faster?
