We hit what we aim at
This is something I am saying more often as I learn about expectations, our limitations, and how we grow through our mindsets. The problem is the word ‘aim’… it isn’t a term that sits right. So I am starting to say: “We go where we point ourselves” and I love it. It applies in at least a few different ways and I’ve just started trying to explain it in simple terms. It’ll be great!
Also, today I stumbled into a new line of thinking – students who think the projects or mindset lessons in class are plain simple and that trying in class won’t teach them anything. So they expect to learn nothing. Realizing this has already helped to give me some ideas for showing the value of the class.
