I have all of these elements and tricks that help students start to think like creators, change their mindsets, make cool projects, and start to learn independently… but they can’t be put together randomly or winging-it – it doesn’t make a coherent story to them. All of these elements need to be put together in a spiraling, scaffolding, and open-ended way. It’s coming together. I wonder if the sequences I am developing are going to translate into other classrooms or if they are just unique to me. Even if it is just unique to me, without a doubt the things that become clear will be useful moving forward.
Just showing what is possible will be worth it.
