How to end a quarter full of projects?

It gets difficult as the projects get finished. Many students are eager to start a new project and many of these students are able to finish complex projects in just a few days. The end of the quarter is also when long-delayed projects finally get started, complex projects get urgent attention, and simple projects ‘are done already’.

It is a management nightmare, honestly. The fraction of students who need those final work days is too large to change too much, but the students who are ‘done already’ make it a challenge. We can have tiny projects, classroom projects, and building materials all around the room… but I don’t have the skills to juggle and communicate specifics to those who need to hear it… yet. My hope is that a tool called a figjam will help us visualize and track our projects in the future.

I cannot wait until I have all of this figured out!
