I’ve learned that the ONLY productive thing I can handle after the final bell is calling parents. Anything else is too difficult in my brain-mush state, so I want to take advantage of that. And honestly, even if the calls aren’t positive, they become positive and somewhat fun. It’s decided: all of the youngest students’ parents will be getting a positive introduction call as they start class next year.

What should I be asking parents, along with introducing myself and the class?

One idea that has me really excited is this: How do you feel about the high expectations of my class? Would you support me in having even higher expectations for your child?

That conversation would set a really solid base that we can build on.

What else to ask? I’ve wanted to do this for so long, I am excited to really dive into it!
